Most of you know I am a huge Kroger shopper and spend quiet a bit of time getting my weekly meal plans together as well as shopping list and coupons. eMeals gives you a shopping list as well as COUPONS for your LOCAL grocery story (eMeals has partnerships with all major food stores). All the ingredients you buy will be used in multiple recipes so that there is no waste.

Now is the perfect time to sign up for eMeals because you can start saving money before the Holidays and have a little extra in your budget for your Holiday shopping!

eMeals not only gives you meal recipes for the week based on a  meal plan for 2 people, or a family meal plan for 4+, but eMeals is also designed to ensure that you do not have food waste. This means no wasted money, no wasted food storage, and more money in your pockets.

There are 3 ways eMeals helps you save money:
No extra items – By sticking to the plan, you limit the extra spending on misc items.
Duplicate items eMeals plans try to utilize items multiple times a week to reduce waste of throwing out food.
Store sales eMeals planners try to incorporate your local grocery store sales into the plan.

I tried it these past couple of weeks  and wow, I was surprised that not only was everything very simple to make but my grocery trip planning was super simple and it took only half the time it normally does to get it done. I love the fact that when you get your eMeals plan for the week it tells you each item and if it is on sale or not.

My family tends to go for more traditional meals and sometimes I experiment with different things to see how they will like it. Below is one of the more traditional meals I prepared from my first week's menu plan:

I did substitute corn for a different vegetable because I already had it on hand.  What makes this meal even better is that with the ingredients in my meal plan, I had enough chicken left over to do another meal, which is how eMeals sets it up for you.

From last week's plan one of the most simple dishes I made was Buffalo Chicken Wraps which were awesome and the way they are made I was able to fix them so everyone could enjoy them by allowing them to add extra wing sauce if they wanted it with a little more bang.

As you can see we added our own touches as well with a little bit of shredded lettuce added to the wraps because we all love lettuce on most any kind of wrap.

The recipe was super simple and can be made even by your kids ( with supervision of course)

We did use ranch dressing as well but the lettuce kind of hides that in the pictures. Chris, who is not a big fan of Chicken really liked these and has encouraged me to continue using eMeals on a regular basis because so far I have had much less stress with meal planning and even he can look at the week's menu and easily make dinner if I am not feeling well or away somewhere, or even better yet, just because!

Do you know that Financial Planning celebrity and TV show host, Dave Ramsey, supports eMeals and how it helps families save around $1,000/year. Personally, I think with the proper use of coupons you can save much more than that, I found that I saved about 31 % more this week than I normally do even though I use coupons every week, with proper meal planning, I feel like I saved even more.

My weekly meal plan is sent to my inbox every week and is also available to me on my eMeals account if I miss the email for any reason. You can also access your prior week's meal plan as well in case you need to reference a previous meal or want to go back and print it out. I am putting each week's plan in a binder so we can always have it on hand.

eMeals is super affordable, especially if you purchase a one year membership. You can choose which meal plan style you prefer once you sign up, they have 12 different options for you to choose from and you can even add a Breakfast or Lunch menu if you would like. I think once summer gets here I will add both to my plan because that's the time when my budget really takes a hit when the kids are out of school and I would love to put those extra savings toward a Family Vacation!

Disclosure: I was provided a sample of eMeals and other compensation for this post by Markerly.com however, all opinions are my own and based on my personal experiences.
