I have to admit, I ask for help on this post and did a lot of research to decide exactly what I wanted to see what we could do with Borax other than simply Laundry.

I had a lot of great ideas fro my readers, and I would have loved to use them but unfortunately they did not include pictures or had pictures from Pinterest that I am not allowed to use, so I had to get creative myself here.

I am by far, not a craft person, but I was determined to do this post and to give all my readers the chance to win!

So after doing my research, I found the easiest thing for me to make and the quickest , and all my kids enjoyed, even my teenagers, was to make slime with 20 Mule Team Borax!

You only need 2 ingredients for slime: non-toxic school glue and borax

Make the Slime

Mix 1 teaspoon of borax in 1 cup of water. Stir to dissolve the borax. In a separate container, mix 1/2 cup of glue (1 bottle) in 1/2 cup of water. You can add food coloring if you like. We made a few different colors, my daughters favorite was the light purple color. The boys made soem that was almost black, we just could not get it exactly the right color. When you mix the two solutions together, cross links will form between the molecules, forming the gelatinous polymer we call slime.

Storing Slime

The slime is non-toxic and can be cleaned from surfaces using soap and water. You can store the slime in a plastic baggie to keep it from drying out.

There are so many crafty things you can do with Borax and not just Laundry don't hesitate and head on over and ENTER the contest for a chance to win $500
