Oreo truffles9:00 AM
Yummy! I was scrolling for new baking recipes on Pinterest ,of course. I was looking for something different for all my family gatherings. I found this and boy oh boy was it a hit. I came across Oreo truffles and was thinking oh how entailed is this? It was actually only 3 ingredients and really easy. You can also decorate them anyway you want sprinkles, colored chocolate, anything you can think of .
1 package of Oreo s
1 8 oz package cream cheese softened
chocolate candy coating
Take Oreos and crush them up finely. In a bowl, mix the Oreo crumbles and the Cream Cheese and stir until mixed well. Next, roll into balls and put the balls on parchment or wax paper. I froze mine for about an hour and that worked really well. Next, Melt your chocolate in a double boiler or in microwave in 30 second intervals stirring each time until melted. Have your chocolate melted and all toppings ready to go before taking balls out of freezer. Then you dip them in the melted chocolate and decorate.
Very easy recipe and so rich and yummy. The sky is the limit with this recipe. You could use different flavor Oreo's and mix up the chocolate flavors as well.
I made 2 batches and wanted to take some pictures and this was all that was left when I went to take them, so that tells you how good they were. I can't wait to do these again and make different flavors and decorate more.
